Apex Velo welcomes Giant Bicycles

05 Apr, 2018

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Giant Bicycles, the largest bike manufacturer in the world.

While we are perhaps best known for selling exclusive high-end bikes, there is quite a large part of our business in which our clients are looking for bikes at a lower cost, but which are still high quality.  It is with this in mind that we brought in Giant.  They make some amazing bikes and actually produce bikes for many of the other large companies. We only will be stocking a limited portion of their line, but do have access to everything.

The Defy Advanced 0 and women's Liv Advanced 0 are the two models that truly convinced us to sell Giant. They are equipped with Shimano's newest Ultegra 8070 Di2 hydraulic disc brake groupset and Giant's in-house full carbon tubeless-ready wheelset for $4,800. We will have two more demo bikes coming by the time the snow melts to compliment the two we already have.  After putting one through its paces last fall, we were blown away with the ride, and, combined with the price, this is a bike that is going to be hard to keep in stock.

Giant's all-new Propel Disc is also very exciting. The frame stiffness and aerodynamic drag numbers are industry leading. Look for some more in-depth features on this bike in the coming months.

Giant's TCR is equally an amazing deal at under $3,000 for the top-end frameset and complete Ultegra 8070 bikes coming in at the same price as the Defy.  Spencer is very excited to be riding one this coming year. Both rim and disc brake bikes are available.  They even sell Tom Dumoulin's Giro-winning frame.

They also make some awesome cross and mountain bikes.

We are very excited and think our clients will be as well.
